The New York Furry Review is a print-only furry publication based in New York City. The intention of this publication is to provide, for the New York Furry Community, a place to reflect, invent, polemicize, curse and discurse, and maledict, benedict plead, bark, growl, and yowl. ➹ How can I contribute?

➽ The theme of Issue no. 3 (Summer/Fall 2026) of the NYFR is ON SITE / ON SIGHT.

For this issue we are accepting furry plays under ten minutes in length (~1500 words max), in addition to plans, descriptions, instructions, explanatory illustrations, and/or schematics for furry events or happenings.

Events may include, but are not limited to: parties, outings, dates, games, competitions, boxing matches, theatrical productions, operas, avant garde performance art, book club meetings, protests, worship services, dances, concerts, judicial proceedings, congresses, book launches, vernissages, orgies, rites, hikes, business meetings, etc etc.

The Editorial Deadlines for Issue No. 3 are as follows:

➼ Proposals for pieces due before July 31, 2026.
➼ Publication ready pieces due August 29, 2026.
