The New York Furry Review is a print-only furry publication based in New York City. The intention of this publication is to provide, for the New York Furry Community, a place to reflect, invent, polemicize, curse and discurse, and maledict, benedict plead, bark, growl, and yowl. ➹ How can I contribute?

➽ The theme of Issue no. 2 (Summer 2026) of the NYFR is PARADE.

We accept essays, short stories, poetry, photography, art, illustration, performance art instructions, and very short plays. Submissions should be between 1 and 1000 words, though shorter and longer pieces may be exceptionally considered.

The Editorial Deadlines for Issue No. 2 are as follows:

➼ Proposals for pieces due May 29nd, 2026.
➼ Publication ready pieces due June 12th, 2026.
